Purchased it 7th April 07 on an 18 month contract, anyone know does that mean I can write a letter asking them to terminate it from the 7th of October, or does it have to be from the 1st of November? or do you even have to specify a date and just ask for it to end after the 18 month period?

thanks for any help.

iirc, you have to cancel 60 days in advance in writing!

what current tariff are you on?, and do you wanna continue with VP or not?

I think it's 30, have done it in the past but can't quite remember when I could ask it to end. I've already got a new T-Mobile contract so just need to cancel this contract really.

yes you need to do it in writing 30 days before end of contract, be sure to cancel your direct debit after that time and also keep a record that u sent the cancelation as they have a nack of saying they havent recieved anything,

Yeah I was going to cancel the direct debit just to make sure, just wasn't 100% from what point the contract ends.

just write VP a letter dated 7th september, giving 30days notice. once the DD has been taken out, cancel it then make VP contact you for the final payment.
