    When will people learn!!

Seen this today and in light of the Bulger murder being in the news again I cannot believe that people are so flipping stupid! And for what, to put a bet on!

what is it cant see pic?

see this all the time and its shocking parenting, mothers take kids in the pram to our local asda and when they get to the store,if the kids asleep in the pram, they just park them at the door!

Unfortunately I don't think some people will ever learn! :-(

i remember the day after the jamie killing, kids still running round shops, and that was the very next day, i was gobsmacked, but i suppose everybody thinks it wont happen to them

    must've been a hot tip

Agree, people shouldn't take pics of young children:whistling:

You realise that you are the one in the wrong here (but I do agree with you).

Wonder if she is still there?:?

well i'm sure the parents wouldnt give a fig as they obviously dont care and its a good job i'm not a peadophile isnt it otherwise I would have had free reign!

Not that I'm advocating leaving children outside a bookie's but surely whoever left the child there would be able to see him/her out the window.

maybe discuss it without the pic

maybe they were backing their kid to be the next child abduction?
    Worth a punt.
Was this in Leicester by any chance?

Because being able to see where the child is is a great idea...Madeleine McCann anyone?

If the parent had turned their back on the window, to actually place the bet, or play fruit machines, then it'd only take a second for the child to go missing.

Seriously, this is really bad. I can't really understand the parents at all. It's just ridiculous.

You can bet online now anyone, so there's not even any need for it.

In OP's favour - OP was simply taking a picture of her rear view mirror showing how close the car behind was?

Against OP - Using a phone whilst driving??

Seriously? So now leaving your child in the car while you pay for petrol is the same as going out for a meal and leaving your children in bed.

Don't see the issue with the pic, it's not explicit and the child is in a public area, it's not a dodgy close up.

If it were me I'd be reporting it to social services, see if they recognise the child, if she is known.

Disgusting you can only turn you back for a second and kids disappear and that's at home! If their was an oppertunist peado, thuggish kids, looney driver you name it anything could have happened to her in a split second they were placing that bet.

Yeah there was a thread IMHO that's a bit different, leaving kids strapped into a locked car for 2 mins, is different to leaving them exposed to the elements, easily snatchable if they wanted with minimal fuss, still not ideal but not quite the same.

in Scotland at least its illegal to photograph a child in any way, parents permission needed.

doubt social service would recognize the kid

maybe the father is frank gallagher from shameless, lol

Don't worry about it. Keep the pic as there's nothing wrong - child is unidentifyable etc, and it's not kiddy porn - Otherwise, the argos catalogue would be classed as paedo top shelf material.

Not here it's not. Illegal are you sure, really? Or it's just you need permission for school etc. Otherwise a lot of criminals in parks, play centres, birthday parties, tourist areas, theme parks, where it's easy to get other kids in the background:?

They may do, if it were me I'd still report it.

From the pic I can see, that could be a doll in the buggy. We know it's a child but it's unidentifyable, not indecent etc.

Really, anyone trying to suggest anything negative about the photo is clearly trolling for kicks or is part of the PC brigade and needs a kick...

(Not implying that about you though, just since you raised the point)

I wouldn't worry moo really, as we are all criminals in the making, loads of pictures of peoples kids from when we have been to legoland etc, heck some rides legoland themselves even have us paired with others. A lot of OTT reactions to the pic in this thread.

I don't think the parents will give a crap, aslong as their winnings came in.

PS I don't believe for one minute it's illegal to take pics of anyone in a public place, would be interested to see the law that says otherwise, really.
