    morning louloo your up early

try lidl for batteries £1.99 for 8 aa or aaa

I go for the 10 pack of kodak batteries from poundland - use these in the wii remotes and they tend to last ages!

Buy rechargeable, they are cheaper in long term and greener
My Memory has loads of them and currently have 3 fro 2 offer (you can also use code mmdisc to get 50% discount - if its still working)

Ours too........I think its mainly due to the shorter time that the rechargeables retain their charge compared to normal batteries.

However we've recently started buying the hybrid (Hybrio or Eneloop) rechargeable batteries. These come ready charged and once charged retain that charge for a year (if unused). They are fantastic and you can use your existing battery charger

Got loads from Tesco the other day. 8+8 free Duracells at Tesco for £3.97.

thats a bit strange cos rechargeables usually stronger than normal battery. unless its an NiCD batteries or a lower capacity NiMH. Buy a higher MAH (e.g. 2700 mAH for AA and 1000 MAh for AAA).

sorry if you have these already, in which case the toys are hi-power toys

My local 99p shop has AA rechargeables so will be getting more of them already bought 16, need to get AAA, C, D &9v ones so will stock up from the poundshop when I go out this week.
