Found 30th Sep 2010
Could anybody tell me who makes and where I can get sugar free sweets (Glasgow)? Looking for Liquorice, boiled sweets and sherbet...but anything else as well!

Had a look in sainsburys but couldn't see anything!

Thanks

Thorntons too
You don't have a sweet shop near you?

We got one that sells a lot of sweets / cards / birthday stuff. They have quite a few in there.

Just don't eat the whole bag within a minute, you'll be regretting it ha.

the old fahsion sweet shop if you have one round where you live they do lots of diabetic and sugar free sweets but be warned dont have to many or they can give you diarhear the runs same with diabetic chocolate and fudge.
Lidl sell small boxes 2 for 89p. Butterscotch, strawberry and one more which I forget the flavour of at the moment.
Holland and Barrett and Tesco.

Yeh it's for a diabetic
I used to eat a lot of them when I cut, they are fine. Just have to space them out.

I agree - my mum is diabetic and has been told to avoid these as they have sugar substitutes in them which can be a lot worse. She has a sweet tooth and allows herself some normal chocolate (sometimes every day but a small amount) which is fine if she controls what she eats in other ways and always takes her injections.

They sell food and sweets
Truth is if it's about weight loss it will make very little difference as the calorie count will be almost as high. If for some other reason good luck & enjoy
Thanks, have just bought them online for my diabetic mother, nothing to do with weight loss.
instead of sweets eat sweet grapes natural sweetness so much better for you or dried friuts ie raising or sultanas are good for you too
