Where to buy wide fit trainers? Recommendations please

Hi guys

I need to buy some wide fit trainers for my dad.

Can anyone recommend somewhere I can go with him and buy wide fit trainers?

I found on Amazon but they didn't fit right.

So trying on before buying would be ideal. Budget around £80-£90 but I realise these trainers come with a big premium for some reason

Any advice is much appreciated

Sports direct have a guide I'm sure as well as low and high arches which is important. I'm sure most sport shops that sell trainers let you try on

hi tec do wide fit trainers try georges mens wear chester they have a web site sorry no link , sports direct do have different designs and best going in and trying them on running shoes section colour coded , forgetting about their zero hrs and shocking treatment of staff good prices

Thank you. I saw that as well and ordered New balance extra wide fit from Amazon but he didn't like them. I fear I've put him off new balances

I'm making him sound like a grumpy old man but he's in fact pretty laid back.he Insisted on keeping the new balances to save me the hassle of returning. Of course I declined

Tell him they are the best trainers and probably made in the UK might swing it for him,

God knows. Good news is we managed to find a wide fit pair in Clarks today. First pair he tried

Result. Well done. My Dad is fussy about clothes and shoes. Also requires a wide fitting shoe and wants some new trainers.
