£270 on CEX which means only £15 lost.:-D

Sorry, tech specs aren't of that much importance to me - if it looks good and runs smoothly I'm happy.

not, by any means, into apple products (primarily because of the "locked" systems and itunes) but aesthetically they are pleasing. it's good to see that in this incarnation, durability may be better with the glass and stainless steel build.

this is obviously going to be a massive seller and probably rightly so, but one thing puzzles me, why not take what is perhaps one of the best leaves out of say the HD2 book and have a greater expanse of screen?

Because then you run into the same criticism levelled at the HD2, that it's too big!

Oh well. I suppose you will be happy with the iPhone v4 for about 5 minutes and be looking to sell once you realise the Desire was a better phone after all.

I think you've missed my point. the fascia on the new iphone is very much like the old iphone, in that there are large expanses of glass which don't form part of the screen. i just wonder why they don't make the surface area almost entirely screen? after all, there isn't a lot of hardware that rests there other than the home button and now a front cam.

subjective i know but i think it would look better and certainly bring the look of the phone, from it's front perspective, a little more up to date? or at least different from the previous incarnations.

incidentally, as i've said before, i think i would struggle to go to a smaller screen after my hd2. it would just feel cramped and pokey, but that's just my opinion.

Don't you mean 'an HTC Desire'

oh, okay.

I'm sure in the other thread you said you don't troll, surely that's the whole point of this thread?

Whilst generally i agree with most of what you say, sometimes i think you could be a little less antagonistic

Supermod

I will also be looking to sell my current phone for the iPhone 4. Mine is a 3GS. 16gb seem to be going for about £300-£350 on here.
