Which LED Strips?

Hi, been looking at these:

ebay.co.uk/itm…DpA

Was going to go for the standard 2m with RF remote, but then saw there's a PCB strip for the same price? Is it better to go for PCB and is it still flexible round edges?

Thanks

No problem going around edges, solder or get joiners, cut too size.
Ignore the sticky back, the weight is too heavy.
Tack them down with these: ebay.co.uk/itm…u0w

Search ebay again, 100 for 99p.

I buy the 5050 RGB in 5M lengths. 300 leds, around a tenner, £15 or less for the addressables.

Thanks but this will be to go behind a monitor so joiners and clips won't work.
The strips have a sticky back so it should stick to a monitor.

You can buy right angle joiners, the alternative is to solder the ends after cutting to size.
For a 32" monitor 3M of 5050 would do.

Are the ones in my link ok? Think the set was £6.49 and had 2m PCB with RF remote.
£6.59
They look ideal.

What about these? Bit more but means i get them tomorrow. What do you think?

amazon.co.uk/gp/…c=1

The last ones I had were from Amazon, different brand. When they were stuck on my monitor, if I pressed the strip a little, some of the led's would change colour, then back again when I let go, so not sure they were that reliable?

if your after smart home ones which you can change colour with alexa etc i can higlly recomend "Yeelight" strip. These can be cut down too and are multicoloured.
Same Chinese manufacturer.

You think the Amazon ones I linked are ok then?
Yes.

Yes.

Any tips on the adhesive? They never seem to stick to things very well!
The back tape is useless.
I've used Blu Tack but you can buy strong adhesive tape.
