If you are looking to connect to a laptop then the V3i is the best for the money.
It has a MP3 player and an ok camara

You should know though that the Orange pound a day internet access is only for Orange world on the phone.
Once you connect to the laptop you will be paying a hell of a lot more! more than a pound a MB
Bu t if you wish to go on the net alot you would be better off with one of the 3G phones like the N70.

The only reason I know is because a run a phone shop

Good luck

The sony ericsson w810i is a nice phone from what ive seen, 3.2 mp camera too, aswell as being a walkman, downside is it takes micro memorysticks.

3.2 cam w810i?

theres me thinking it was only 2 :-/

Personally I'd go with the following (in this order).

Motorola L7 for extra £35
Motorola V3i for extra £35
Nokia 6230i for extra £35

BTW, SE K800i has 3.2Mpix camera, W810i has 2Mpix and without auto-focus.

Sounds like you want a simple phone that won't bulge your pocket too much. If you're used to Nokia then stick with them as it's a pain to learn the Motorola quirks. If you're happy to use Motorola then the V3 series are excellent. I Have had no problems with my V3 which I keep in my back pocket but the V3i is apparently not quite so strong and the larger plastic window on the front is more liable to breakage than the smaller one on the V3.

The V3 fits a suit pocket well too.

The W810i has a 2.0 Megapixel camera WITH AUTOFOCUS!

It would be my choice. You will not be dissapointed. As for the Mototola V3i, i'm not saying don't buy it as i am sure for those who are lucky enough to get one that isn't fauilty it is a great lookin phone. I have worked in mobile phone retail with both o2 and orange for the past few years, if there is one phone we get back needing repaired or replaced on a weekly basis it is the V3i. Wouldn't touch it personally.
Again no offence to those of you who own a V3 and love it, it's just the facts;-)

Sorry i have just noticed that you would need to pay £105 for the w810i so no i would not recommend that. What kind of tariff are you on to need to pay that sort of money?

The W810i in store is £129.99 on pay as you go if you trade in an old phone off the top of my head!!!
