Hi Guys - I have a decision to make, but need your knowledge to help me...

I need a new monitor which will be a second monitor on my new pC. I already have an Aver 17" (AL1717) but want EITHER a 22" monitor, or 32" cheap hdtv...

basically I've seen 2 items

1 - Acer AL2216W 22" Monitor (no dvi) £160 from Amazon
2 - Hanspree 32" HD TV £300 from ebuyer

I want a monitor to act as a second monitor primarily for tv/dvd watching in my room at Uni, but also for some game playing on my pc (I've just got a new 8800gts) and ps2. I can use my 17" for all my work/other pc activities ...

In your experience is it worth paying nearly twice as much and getting the 32" TV? Is it significantly better?

Is the Acer 22" worth getting with no DVI? Is the difference noticable?

thanks for any input!
