No, because I know which is right.

It's just boring to have this topic thrashed to death. You're not educating anyone. I find people will continue to make the mistake out of habit even if they acknowledge that they are wrong in the first place.

Don't think so because the question only wants one answer, and the word 'are' would suggest more than one. That's assuming that the asker of the question KNOWS that only one is correct.

It would be ARE if the question had been which TWO (or more) things ARE correct.

Sentence number 2, isn't very graceful : It isn't the way I'd personally construct a sentence, but it's grammatically acceptable-- just about!!
