Which Poker Set? Four Choices...

I've found the following...

dicefire.co.uk/Pok…Set - that's £24.99 delivered. A good little deal, I think. A big bonus is the chips are numbered. Looks good quality. The only annoying thing is 100 chips with the value of 100. Values could have been distributed better.

pokershopping.co.uk/600…tml - about £40 delivered, but you get 600 rather than 500 and I do like the chips.

http://www.thesportshq.com/cq-poker-500-high-roller-numbered-poker-chips.aspx] - £31 delivered. Looks a good set.

new.ukdvdr.co.uk/pro…434 - about £22 delivered, so the cheapest option, but apparently the chips are a bit plain?.

Which of those four would you go for? Or do you know of a better deal/set? Any help?

Thank you.

You sound like my Dad! :-D;-)

Just kidding.

I have tried playing with copper, but it's a bit annoying and doesn't have the same feel as using proper chips. It just feels wrong saying 'ALL IN!' and pushing in a ton of 2p and 5p coins!

The poker set will be used between me and my mates, we'll all just put £10 or £15 in and then distribute the chips evenly - whoever winds up with all the chips wins the money.

Wow! That's an amazing set for the price. That's definitely the winner at the moment! Thank you very much for posting that, much appreciated!

I would advise getting chips with values on them, otherwise you end up with a never ending 'what are these worth again'

Most definitely. That'd be my preference .Just a shame that the poker set from DiceFire is unevenly matched in values.

Does anyone know if the set Jason linked to includes numbered chips? It's impossible to tell on the pictures I've seen.

You can always write on some paper the chip values ie

Red = 25
White = 100
Black = 500
Green 1000

btw you know if you wanted to go to a casino, and hire a dealer, would probably work out pretty cheap. don't know the exact rates but not expensive at all
