Which postage to use?

I need to send a playstation 3, its very heavy, and obviously il need it insured upto £250, what delivery do I use?

you are best to use a courier as it will probably cost abouyt a tenner compared to royal mail special delivery who will charge at least twice that. try having a look at [url]www.parcel2go.com[/url] you put in the size & weight & value & it tells you how much

try interlink express, then seem cheapest.

Yes, imagine if they tried to transport 100 PS3s via lorry in one town. That would be far too much weight. Now multiply that by all 86 towns in the UK and you'd have thousands of lorries every week.

They use airmail to cut down on the costs. It's cheaper to fly all the large parcels from London to Wales etc than it is to use lorry vans.

Yes, it's tracked when it gets dropped off at the first airport, then when it lands at the second airport, then when it gets delivered to the door

anything upto 10kg's with royal mail costs £12 with £2.25 for £250 insurance

RM standard 3 day parcel costs are a lot cheaper than you think...
