Which Ticketing Website to Use?

After much investigation looking into reselling tickets & legality after not being able to attend...

I have some fantastic Harry Potter tickets that I cannot sell on here for profit and so I am going to use a resale ticketing website.

Does anyone have any particularly good or bad experiences with any resale websites? I'm not however interested in moral opinions on profiteering

Fees are pretty low down on my list. I basically want the safest way of doing this as it's a huge amount of money to me.

You can't resell Harry Potter tickets.

From a recent news article:

Fans who do purchase tickets from touts will be turned away from the production, a spokesperson saying: “We continue to track down touts and refuse entry to anyone knowingly buying a ticket from a tout through the secondary market.”

Those turned away are given a letter of refusal in order to demand refunds from second-hand ticket websites.

For clarification purposes

It's illegal to sell outside etc. It's also illegal not to advertise the face value of the tickets and a couple of other bits too.

Onto your point, that's a terms and conditions thing.
The company will ban any tickets they know to have been re-sold via ticketing websites. Unless the company themselves purchase the tickets though - or the buyer informs the theatre - they have no way to verify whether a ticket has been re-sold. This is because only the row number is advertised before purchase, rather than specifically the seat number.
I've done many hours of research as this will easily pay for a family holiday away
There's thousands of tickets for sale on Stubhub & Viagogo over the next 14-16 months but the theatre doesn't know whose tickets are for sale.

The tickets are collected by courier from your house and delivered signed for by the customer.

You can also gift tickets so that the main purchaser does not have to appear at the theatre. You just need their order confirmation to confirm you "know" them. However I may try to get a family member to attend just to make sure there are no problems at the entrance.

Are there any HUKDers who have gone through this process?

Touting is a real scum-bag trick.
These resale sites should be made illegal.

Perhaps, but they aren't illegal. I did state I wasn't interested in moral opinions.

Anybody with experience of using a resale website for any concert/musical/theatre tickets?

You won't get a decent, trustworthy opinion because decent, trustworthy people wouldn't try to exploit others like this.

If you say so Feel free to open a thread discussing the morality of it all, but please stop bumping mine as this is in 'Ask' and I am looking for either no replies or - hopefully and I would be grateful for - people to share their experiences.

They will buy back for £2.50 fee per ticket.

– If you booked with ATG, please call +44 (0) 208 544 7469 (UK and International; usual rates apply).

There will be a service charge of £2.50 per refunded ticket. If you are returning a ticket for Part One and Part Two together, only one service charge of £2.50 will be processed on your refund.
