Which TomTom?

I've had my TomTom Go 300 for a number of years now, and it's just about to fail completely (battery won't stay charged, has trouble charging from the cigarette lighter), so I'm in the market for a replacement.

It's only used in the UK, what's the best one around at the mo?

Or is there a better product than TomTom these days? I've got to say I have been very happy with the TomTom so quite happy to stay with them.

You will probably find one a little cheaper elsewhere, maybe.

Cheers for that... Can I ask you why that one better than the other TomTom's around? It's the cheapest, which is great for me (!), but it's usually a case of you get what you pay for.

cdiscount.co.uk/Sou…tml an a Free Bottle of Red Wine if you use the voucher code for it.

Ordered this when it was £75.00 special. First Sat-Nav i've had and i think it's great.

You can also pay in 3 Monthly Interest free payments with these guy's.

Also Free 12 Months Breakdown Cover

I have tried others but sold them on. I have found the TomTom (I have v3) much easier to use and the directions are "almost" perfect.

Not sure about the differences. Mine is TomTom One. I suppose they must function about the same.

oops, I deleted my message, cos when I looked back both your links were for the One, soz  That'll teach me to read a bit slower

Does the One have the lane guidance ?

Not exactly. It just says "Bear left" or "Bear right" (not the fluffy kind btw:))

ah, so it's pretty much the same as my GO 300, prob just renamed to ONE.. Still, it's cheap so it's the frontrunner so far.

It's so old now I think they would just laugh at me. Or charge £50 to fix it, which isn't worth it if I can get a new one for £85
