Who buys consoles for cash apart from CEX?

    Hi

Are there any games stores that would buy a WII from me. I have listed it on Ebay, but spotted this morning that CEX say they pay cash which I reckon could be better than I will clear from Ebay after fees, but its a 30 mile round trip.

I tried calling Game but they are not answering their phone - they just say that they have no WII and that even if you leave a message they don't have time to get back to you (basically they are obviously being inundated with requests for WIIs which means customers with other enquiries can't get through).

Any thoughts on where to flog it (for a profit) other than through Ebay?

    CEX online will have it.

You have to pay the postage though.

Ebay is def your best bet with a wii.

I wouldnt recommend game, they are very tight when it come's to handing out cash.

Local press? Cash Converters if you have one local

Oh yes - cash convertors, forgot about them - I wonder what they'd pay???

I have listed it on Ebay, but there are so many and its hard to see why some sell for just £200 at which point I reckon I won't make anything and the very same thing from someone else gets £265? At the moment my bl&*dy listing isn't even showing because I changed the title, but I reckon thats not the end of the world as it gives me time to back out of Ebay if I get a good offer elsewhere.

I don't really understand CEX - I have bought some 2nd hand games off Ebay which haven't arrived yet (!) - one of which was FIFA 08. As I was panicking about it not arriving I got it from Game last week, so when my 2nd hand one eventually arrives I will need to sell it.

I paid Game £22 for the brand new one, and CEX online say they will pay £21 for an 'any condition' one - they must be very expensive to buy from!

Nobody will match CEX. Your problem will be that CEX online will cost you to post and CEX instore - more often than not they have no cash - or at least tell you that so you are pushed in to store credit.

You tried Gamestation? Not sure what their rate is, but no harm in trying right?

Other places that buy for cash include Chips and Blockbuster, but you probably won't be making any profit.

Send the one back to CEX and get your money back.
