you may aswell ask how long a piece of string is.

to be honest never shop in tesco much hate the store with a passion mostly shop at morrisons, but sainsburys are alot cheaper than they used to be

    Tesco imo

Go onto supermarket.co.uk and pick all your shopping and at the top it will say how much it will be in tesco and sainsburys as well as asda and I think ocado to.

Does it matter? If you're short of money, Lidl and Aldi are much cheaper. If you've got plenty of money, you wouldn't be shopping at Tesco or Sainsburys.

Tesco over advertising seems to have confused the masses as being a cheap supermarket sainsburys is cheaper

Aldi are not as cheap as lidl, but they both sell award winning food...The best way of shopping is to go to a different supermarket each week....then you can cherry pick the best products and the bargains from each.

harry hill jokes? did i miss something?

    Asda :-d

Sainsbury is now Cheaper, I keep a basket in 'My Supermarket' and every week Sainsbury comes out cheaper for all the products I buy.

I have started to use sainsburys, only been going for the past 4 weeks. On 3 occasions i have been stopped in store by someone trying to sell me their gas/electric, if it happens today..... back to Tesco's

why not just politely say 'no thanks' and walk on?

because i don't want to be approached, i am buying eggs and bread.... if i wanted energy i would not go to the supermarket. I have never been stopped like this in other stores, so these stores will get my custom if it happens again.

I walked down the one aisle and a lady was having a row on the chap and demanding to see his manager as he had approached her 3 times in 20 mins.
