Why do you want to know?If your looking for a new battery go on tayna.co.uk

I used Tanya a few years back , good price and prompt delivery, only issue I had was 9 months down the line when the battery started playing up . Contacted Tanya who said I had to return it at my own expense , they would then send it away for testing, if it came back that the battery was faulty they would replace it , could take up to a month, not sure what they expected me to do in the meantime just leave the car parked up I suppose, anyway bought a replacement from Halfords instead.

Tanya are dreadful, I used them 3 times, never again. None of their batteries lasted over 2 years, one just 18 months. My last one was an Exide and the cars main battery, lasted 2 years. Tanya is almost like a scam because there is no real warranty or guarantee. Like you say, you return a faulty battery at your own expense then they test it and guess what ? , its likely a non warranty issue, surprise , surprise. Nobody is going to go to that trouble and they know it, once they have your money they don't care. I just got my new battery from Halfords and will stick to them. At least they are near and would replce it if it goes wrong.

If you select a battery, Look under "Hazards and Warnings, then "View the Safety Data Sheet" all will be revealed .

Best ask Halfords why it's missing then. Other batteries have it. (edited)

That information doesn't seem to be available to some of the EFB batteries.

There is a line that suggest some batteries may not....

I had a halfords battery didn't even last 6 months without developing a fault, took it back and the assistant said ‘ive got worse one on the shelves’ I would avoid at all costs

I’ve used battery mega store, very good. Get vat back If disabled.
Google eBay my garage. Select your car, look up battery. Some sellers have 15% off until the 17/02/21.
Personal choice is Bosch or Varta. Yuasa look ok also.
I have a halfords trade card which helps with a bit of discount.
With trade card its £96.80 (edited)

Just bought a EFB Yuasa battery from Tanya for my vehicle. Started playing up 1st lockdown. Once left outside for 4 or 5 days was not enough power in battery to start. Back then I just charged it a couple of times & away it went. November lockdown same happened. Then this cold snap. Couldn't handle that even if driven a few short miles wouldn't start next day. So enough is enough decided better replace it. Took 2 days to arrive & 2 days to fit (it was fricking freezing outside). Came well packed.

Most Halford batteries are made by Exide. They are great!

I purchased a Yuasa HSB012 battery a few weeks ago and the Halfords lad who I purchased it from told me that the Halfords own brand were made by Yuasa.
