Hi there

I have never used Ebay before
and I know it may sound strange,
to have not used Ebay before,
but I was allways worried about getting ripped off.
I have heard horror stories
of what can happen.
But while searching for a game,
I came across this Ebay seller

stores.ebay.co.uk/nex…rld

I have read some of his feedback
but it's the negative feedback that worries me.
As I say I have never used Ebay
but I have been thinking of giving it a go.

Any information or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I thought it was a poem??

Very few sellers have no negative feedback. This seller seems ok to me...

If you look at his negative feedbck, the majority of it is due to the same items (mainly Xbox 360 GAME: Grant Theft Auto IV). He has probably listed the items before he has them and then had trouble obtaining the games to sell on. I would say that as long as this is not the game that you want then you shouldn't have any trouble.

Agreed. This is one of the better ones.

But why are you looking to dip your toe in the murky world of eBay now?

Ooooooh that's harsh critisipppppllllllll ( whatever you call it )

Hi, just check the rating of the seller, and if possible read the negetive comments left by others, now a days it is very hard to keep account active for a while and rip people off. if a person have got an account worht a couple of years old and good rating [Arround or more than 50] . Pay pal is expensive but safe almost 99% for sales upto 500£ [If I am right] check and read the seller advertisment very clearly, if he/she offers refunds and postage charges and especially vat charges. You will learn all these when you will use to it, but don't worry, e.bay is not easy to shop arround, but can save you a lot if you learn it.

Now there's a poem :-D

As an advice, I can say just go on. The most important thing is I advice you to have paypal account and always make your payments through it. It is secure and will cover you upto £500.

 and me ha ha

If you want to see bad feedback look ]here. They have disbled his account before people can really see how bad ebay CAN be, he sold of £5000 worth of stuff ending within one hour, a bigger scale ebay scam!

Or ]here we have an example of a seller going insolvent with hundreds of orders outstanding (ours included) people have been leaving positive feedback with negative comments as they thought that if the feedback fell below 98% positive the paypal protection would be void (its the feedback at the time of purchase that counts)
