I did many years ago in my last Hotel, i hated it. the amount of paper work, the hours you spend training staff from EVERY department, the abuse you get off some staff,
I did all my own training when i worked in my Restaurants so i was used to training staff but it was so hard when you had to train staff from other departments i'd never even been in ( maintenance)
you also have to maintain the H&S for the entire hotel , be responsible for the fire training and evacuations, the list goes on and on and on, this is why some are paid a high wage hun its not all admin

probably got to have good knowledge of employment laws etc to offer advice, highly doubt it's just admin

you also need to know about unions and all the procedures the company has, it is quite complicated, I'm doing a degree on it It needs quite a lot of responsibility to ensure employees are looked after and not unfairly treated.

A lot of jobs need a fair amount of knowledge about a lot of things...

Its not just an admin role!!!!, you need a qualification in CIPD if you want to work in HR in the higher roles, a degree and a vast understanding of employment law, unions, pay, tax, benefits etc.

I work in the media not HR just saying!

Whats with all the job questions today?

Get a job and stop posting job questions (Joke)
