Why are some car leases cheaper with different dealership?

basic question really. was looking into a PCH on a fiesta st line. went to my local dealer got all the spiel about ford options pcp etc. eventually got him to send me over a quote on PCH.... 8k mileage came back at £190 pcm on a 3+36 lease.

went online and found a ford dealer up north... they came back on a 15k mileage allowance with 170 pcm on a 3+36 lease.

looking at the paperwork both quotes are provided by ALD trading as Ford Leasing... why is my local dealer more expensive?

Prob a case of the up north dealer being behind target for sales and willing to cut their margins to sell a few more cars than the local dealer is

Veey same reason why for example Tesco and Morrison's have different price on the same product from same brand...

One might have bought more than the other, giving a lower individual unit price. Ford dealer up north may have much less over heads.

r u serious, if so it's how things happen all over the world if everything was fixed price nobody would need to buy anything from further away from the closest place possible which sells it.Also there would be no need for hot uk deals as everything would be same price everywhere. anyway that's the background but like others have said targets and how good a dealer is at negotiations and the amount of overheads and price they paid for the vehicles in first place have a lot to do with what they want to charge also the local guy probably thought I've got this fish on the hook so let's take it on board whilst the Internet guy needs to get u on the hook first.
