why can't we add a link to a website that offers 2.5% cashback at amazon?

I added a link to a website that had emailed me today about a 2.5% cashback offer and it was removed. I thought huduk was ok with cashback sites other than quidco being mentioned.

post a link i need cashback at amazon, its bad enough they never have any darn discount codes least we bloody expect is cashback

it seems to me HUKD has a forum referral scheme going with Amazon
]hotukdeals.com/amazon
]http//ww…44/hotukdeals-21

And quidco doesn't do amazon where as other sites do (which I used to order my 160gb usb2 drive), if I understand this correctly, without wanting to start up conspiracy theories, it's in HUKD's interest to not show information about possible Amazon cashbacks, so that their Amazon links and amazon section can continue to generate revenue for HUKD.
I don't regulary order from Amazon so I don't mind quidco not having it, what I think I do mind is HUKD censoring information on how to get Amazon cashback, not that I can prove this beyond doubt ;-)

Sounds likely to me, good work Watson, thou hast outdone thy self

I see. I did wonder. But they did not stop people putting links up to the site that does nectar points or something for amazon purchases.

You can start a thread in here. We try to keep any cashback threads to a minimum in the Hot Deals.

Ok fair enough

I guess it is the quidco thing. I don't like to see money go to waste. If someone signs up without a referal then the site doesn't have to pay out. Better it goes to someone i.e me :giggle:

Because what that site are doing above is actually wrong. It's not cashback, they are just giving you some money from their 4% referral at amazon and keeping the 1.5%. If amazon did follow it up, they would stop it. Against the rules of the amazon affliate scheme I believe, or it certainly used to. Only the dodgy, money making cashback sites offer it.

Isn't that what quidco does? except they give you all the referral money?
