Just to add this is when they are talking about buying something.....

    I don't

    depends what they mean
maybe they mean that they have just brought it from the shop
they bought it first and they brought it home
    isn't it ?

no, a lot of people just say things like " i brought a game yesterday"

There is loads of examples on this forum, just something that annoys me and it shouldn't really

oh and i'm not saying everyone does it

    I quite agree ...

Isn't it 'bought', if youve paid for something e.g. I bought a PS3, but isnt brought when you bring something along e.g. i brought my frisbee to the park?????

I thought this only annoyed me..... its the same as people asking "can you borrow me a ........"

THE WORD IS LEND! or CAN I BORROW!

exactly, so you say " i bought a game and then brought it home,"

not "i brought a game" doesn't make sense at all.

A lot of people dont make sense at all... lol

i hate the use of the words "off of" to replace the word "from".

as in "it him, that man off of the telly"
