    What's malware ad?

    You either havent got an up to date version of Java installed, or you are using a blocker like ABP+ or Noscript, that blocks adverts and active scripts.

    The former, go get java, the former, you have a choice, allow all the active scripts, which stops the nags, but increases your chances of picking up something nasty, allow one active script at a time to find which is required, or put up with the nagging.

    Social sites in particular, are riddled with active script trackers and active advert pushers, Buzzfeed as so many, the Noscript list cannot contain them all on the screen, and starts a second row.

    I really don't want to sound rude (or dumb) but that has confused me even more oO too many techy words haha

    I have the same message. Suspect a site issue. And when I say 'suspect' I mean hope.

    Meant. It's either malware on your ipad (unusual for ipad)
    Or it's an ad popping up with a fake warning trying to get you to download/click something.

    have a look on store for some free security, ad blocker.

    Ignore 'Gentle_Giant' when he says 'go get java' it has nothing to do with JavaScript.

    Have you tried an alternative browser such as Chrome - available from the App Store.

    Ipad = Apple product
    I don't own and never will any Apple product but
    Have continuously heard with Apple products being so good you don't need antivirus
    So if correct and it is an Ipad how can OP have malware?

    Why does what you hear going about have any relevance to truth?!

    The ipads main software can be cracked or "jailbroken" these have always been susceptible to malware and viruses.

    Now the newer viruses and malware can get in to the standard issued Mac software that runs on the device. I believe "acedeceiver" is one those nasty bits of malware doing the rounds at the moment, though there are now a few variants.

    Apple product can get viruses, you are just misinformed or have misinterpreted what u have been told. Virus were less common on macs etc more to do with the prominence and domination of windows os. It obviously made sense for virus developers to go after the more dominant os.
