Why is it.....

That when you look at exercise equipment it typically has a weight limit of 17st? How the hells a fat b*****d like yours truly to succeed at losing weight etc when these obstacles are thrown in their path?

Pah, I blame the government.....

Incidentally I checked one of those height/weight charts the other day and it says I should weigh about 12.5st. I'm 6'6" ffs, i'd look like jack the pumpkin king!!! Silly sods.

Yeah I know. I'd say 16ish because I am actually big boned. But anyway, the chart from a government website.....

http://www.food.gov.uk/multimedia/bigimages/heightweightfull.jpg

Notice where the 'OK' line is:?

that type of stuff is dated and way off, some people are big boned, have densier bones etc.

yep shengis my brother is chemical police carries a 20llb kit and does 12 hr shifts , so is fit as does weights etc in gym too and hes almost 6ft6 and he weighs over 14 stone n looks good so 12stone w/e is bs
I also agree about exercise stuff its BS when yu see stuff with 17 stone limit cos althought my hubby like 16 stome i say you best not buy that in case as you close to upper limit.
Like his mum has enormous trampoline for her grandson , had it for years and he was like 15 stone when he went on it he only bounced once and was like 3 inches off the ground now this trampolone like over 4ft high.
I was like omg babes you best get off b4 u break it
BTW apparently wii fit limit is 23 stone...............must be cos its american proof , everything bigger n better there ( so they say)

lol your telling me i have to be 10 stone to be 'ok'.

I'm 4'10" and 160kg, is that bad?

12 stone for a 6ft 6 person? LOL

At the end of the day you just know when you're the right weight. It's a shame the government puts out such BS though. Still same old, same old....

I'm more irritated about the equipment thing though. Was looking at exercise bikes (already got one but want a flashier one lol) and they just seem to be designed for skinny ******s. Think I may just go back to walking the country lanes in the middle of the night. Note to the farmers...

All of your crops are belong to Shengis

Much better to get out and about rather than using a piece of gym equipment
