    Why won't my e-mails download??

Trying to set up a new e-mail system after moving domain hosting. Basically the e-mail seems to be working fine in outlook. The test says everything is fine. I can send e-mail and it's received elsewhere fine.

However I can't receive any e-mails, despite outlook saying it's checked and there's nothing there. I can login on webmail and see the e-mails but outlook won't tell me they're there or download them.

What's going on, why won't outlook get them?

Make sure you have set it up properly in the settings, also, outlook is sometimes slower than on the itnernet.

The settings are right, and it says that it's able to check fine.

We're talking hours of stuff not coming through, it may be slow but it should get the stuff if it's sitting there on webmail shouldn't it?

Yeh, true, make sure you arent signed in anywhere else too, im just going to try and set up my email through outlook, let you know if it works or not

I've just used the alternate server and it's working although one e-mail is missing, sent about half hour ago, it's not in inbox or spam box but it's on webmail.

Not if you have told it to ignore mails that are marked already read.

Send yourself a test mail from another address and see if it collects that one?

I haven't told it to ignore already read e-mails and I didn't even read it, just noted it was in the webmail inbox.

All working now, problem was that there's 2 e-mail addresses and therefore needed a different login for incoming than it did for outgoing. It was using the same one therefore only checking the first e-mail address.
