Wifi adapter for Sony Blu-Ray BDP S470 player help please

Just bought a Sony Blu-Ray BDP S470 player and now need to connect to my internet connection, is there anyway to do this without having to buy the expensive Sony Wifi adapter at £70.

Please help!

ok then, buy a cheaop wireless router and connect that to the player which will mean more power comsumption and more wires etc, or just buy the buy the adapter...........

Thats what im wondering tho, ways around how to do this without the adapter, if not I'll buy one.

Great thanks, will look at this, makes it cheaper and this will do the trick you think?

I had one in my old flat share, and they worked perfectly. It was plugged into my PS3 though, not a BD player. Does your BD played have an ethernet plug in the back, if so then they should work.

Yes it does have an ethernet plug on the back.
