The wife is after one of these and I noticed you can get an unofficial one with wii fit plus for £20 less

Has anyone had the unofficial ones and is there actually much difference?

anyone?

I looked into the unofficial ones briefly when buying a board but the reviews seemed all over the place for the unofficial ones with some people having various niggling issues with syncing the boards so I just went with the official one which works without issue.

My advice would be to get the official mate. I usually have no issue with alternative brands but I had the GameOn balance board and it was extremely unresponsive. I noticed a substantial difference when I purchased the Nintendo board and my scores improved dramatically when using it.

Cheers, I might as well spend the extra money and get an official one

I should imagine they will both gather dust equally well in a couple of months time...... :d

Yeah possibly but as I've got a ps3 and a 360, if she wants a wii I can't really argue!

I got this last week,50 quid,superb price.

Thinks like cables, especially digital ones, should be fine from a 3rd party. Controllers are rarely as good as the official ones.

Yeah thanks for dragging up an eight month old thread to tell us that

Why??

Could be trying to spam? Bizarre first and only post.
