Will a google pixel phone bought in the US work in UK?

im going to california for xmas on tue and was thinking about getting the new google pixel phone as its probably cheaper there plus i want it in blue only which cant be bought in the uk. Does anyone know if it will work with EE UK when i return. I dont use 4g only 3g

just checked, no problems at all just make sure you ask for a unlocked GSM model from AT&T or T-Mobile.
In the US they have two styles of network. AT&T and T-Mobile mimic ours here in the UK.

it will work but you wont be able to make calls or use data services

The Pixel is designed to work on most carriers worldwide. If you look under Google's Project Fi you will see that the US phones are intended to work for project Fi subscribers travelling from the US to about 170 countries around the world.

In the US, they are currently only sold through the Google, and Verizon. They can however be used on all major US carriers (Including AT & T and T Mobile) as well as any other US Carrier that I am aware of and, I believe, almost any other carrier in the world.
