Will an Orange PAYG sim work in an Orange contract phone?

Hi, can someone confirm if an Orange PAYG sim will work in an Orange contract phone, when the phone has been used for only 3 months of the contract?

    Yep it will, no probs.

If contract sim not in mobile you will still be paying for it.

Phones are not locked to contracts-just networks. So as Babbabooey says yes it will.

    good point.

As long as the phones not been blocked for some reason ?

will work however if u do not pay the contract sim for any reason the phone will be blacklisted and will not be able to be used...

Mine did but for some reason, a French orange sim won't work in it? Orange updated the software on my phone so will know in May if it works with the French sim

can they block it for that reason?

Not usually (it's one of my jobs) the sims blocked but the phones only blocked if there are other factors involved.

if u have only had the contract for 3 months and are not going to pay the rest then in my experience yes (used to work for tmob) the phone is not yours until you have paid off the term of ur contract. otherwise they have given u the phone for nothing.....

yep i worked for em too-it was something we were told to say to people, but i was never sure it actually happened:?

There are many times when a phone will be blocked as well as the sim...

Cool. What it was is i bought a phone from ebay, took it to a shop to get it unlocked, the guy in the shop put a sim in it and said the IMEI was blocked. I was toatally gutted, but knowing that i had bought it from a trusted seller tried another Orange sim in it and it worked perfectly! Took it back to the shop and now getting it unlocked, i reckon the guy musta had the SIM in upside down or summat!!!
