Will I get a crisp image with this aerial.

Looking to get a crisp image on my 19" HDTV in my bedroom.

Expensive indoor aerials aren't doing the job so im looking for one like. to go outside.

I've seen this one in argos.

It will be mounted about 15 feet up on a wall facing an open space.

How long is a peice of string?

There is no way of knowing if it would work or not - particularly not knowing what reception is like in your area and how close you are to the transmitter.

Have you looked on the transmitter website? (Sorry not got a URL to hand) It normally tells you what sort of aeriel you will need for your area.

AFAIK i can get every chanel on a freeview box with an indoor freeview aerial.

As silly as it sounds, if your TV does not have Freeview, then get a Freeview Set Top Box for cheap...

The digital tuners are very sensitive and usually you'll get quite a good clear reception even when using an indoor aerial.

If you're ok with an indoor aerial, then an external can only improve things.

Do you have a current roof aerial? If so do you have access to it's feed? Is it facing towards your local transmitter?
