    Will my trousers fit???

    Hi all,
I am having ankle reconstruction on Monday...my problem is...I only really wear jeans and as I will have to have a cast for 2 months I wonder if my jeans are likely to fit over the top!

I have never had a cast before or even know anyone that has so I am not sure how big they are in circumference.

My jeans aren't particularly baggy so would it be advisable to get some horrible unfitted crop trousers??

    Thanks for any advice.

if it was warmer shorts would be the best but seeign as its freezing avoid shorts

from memory (of breaking my ankle) i would say track suit bottoms may be the best, the ones that can be widened at the bottom

I had a motorbike accident in November and I have a foot support thing that's a bit smaller than a cast (but can be taken off) and I don't really have trouble wearing jeans over them but i've lost a lot of weight since my accident so all my jeans are baggy now xD

I actually prefer to wear jogging bottoms (not the nylon kind.. the thick warm ones) - guess you'll just have to wait and see.

I can't wait and see or I'll be coming out of hospital with no bottoms on!
I think I will get some of those jogging bottoms you are talking about and then at least I will not get arrested!

    Thanks.

    P.S Sorry about your accident.

Thanks for the advice. I feel a shopping trip coming on!

They had them in Matalan for £4 in November, no idea if they are still around though

Just get something cheap and baggy so you don't come out with no bottoms on and experiment with jeans etc when you get home

    Tight jeans to mini skirts!

Don't forget to take your Elizabeth Duke ankle bracelet off first :whistling:

    Good luck

    Thanks.

Never done tight jeans or mini skirts....Wow, that really would be a sight to behold!

Never had an anklet either but now you mention it...once the reconstruction is complete maybe I should get some white stilettos to go with it.
