There’s no such thing as having too much storage! Once the images, music and movies add up, you’ll need somewhere to keep them safe – as well as backed-up for important work projects. Western Digital’s My Passport Pro Thunderbolt drive comes in capacities of 2TB and 4TB, so there’s plenty of space for your important data. It’s fast too, with its Thunderbolt connection giving it speeds of up to 233MB/sec.
Plus, because it’s powered through the Thunderbolt port you can take it away with you without having to lug around a power supply. And, it’s even got an integrated Thunderbolt cable.
The dual drives in My Passport Pro are housed within an anodised all-aluminum enclosure. It ships in RAID 0 for maximum capacity, but if you want to sacrifice half the storage space for added security, you can reformat it as a RAID 1 mirrored drive. It’s Mac-formatted straight out of the box, and you can use it for Time Machine backups if you wish.
A WD My Passport Pro 4TB Thunderbolt drive costs £409, but we’ve got two 4TB models to give away. For more information on the WD My Passport Pro 4TB Thunderbolt drive and other great Western Digital storage drives, go to wdc.com/en.
