Win 1 of 20 two for one tickets to Segedunum @ Living North
The North East is so deeply steeped in history you need galoshes to wade through it all. From the time of the Roman Empire, we’ve been at the heart of historical events. Segedunum, once home to 600 Roman soldiers, was a bastion against barbarian attack for more than 300 years, a crucial part of Hadrian’s Wall.
Today it’s an important venue that documents the living history of the area, with an interactive museum, a 35-metre high viewing tower over the site and the River Tyne, plus an outdoor play and picnic area. It’s a rite of passage for North East residents to visit Segedunum.
If for some reason you’ve not yet made it to the Roman outpost, we can help. Make your visit cheaper with a two-for-one entry voucher, giving you access to the exhibits for less. We’ve got 20 vouchers, valid until 10 September, to give away. Just enter our competition to be in with a chance of winning.
