Classic FM and the Edinburgh International Festival have partnered to give you the chance to win a luxury weekend to the city.

The prize includes two nights stay at the five-star boutique Missoni Hotel which sits on the Royal Mile in the heart of the Old Town and up to £200 worth of travel to Edinburgh. Winners will also be given two top price tickets to events at the Edinburgh International festival over the 3 and 4 September.

Every August since 1947 the Edinburgh International Festival transforms one of the world's most beautiful cities, presenting three exhilarating weeks of the finest creators and performers from the worlds of the arts - for everyone.

Edinburgh's six major theatres and concert halls, a few smaller venues and often some unconventional ones too, come alive with the best classical music, theatre, opera, dance and visual art from around the globe.

Artists from all over the world will descend on Edinburgh this summer for the festival which explores the modern-day cultures of the 'New World'. The festival also sees Harry Christophers and The Sixteen ('The Voices of Classic FM') return to Usher Hall on 24 August for a performance of Henry Purcell 's The Indian Queen.

One lucky winner can have the chance to see American Soprano Christine Brewer, the youthful Venezualen Simón Bolívar String Quartet and Mahler's epic ‘Symphony of a Thousand' over the 3 and 4 September.

Festival 2010 runs from 13 August to 5 September, the programme of performances and events can be found here .

Which choir performing at the Edinburgh International Festival was founded by Harry Christophers?
