To mark the launch of Hurtigruten’s new Norway 2011 brochure, we are offering you the chance to win the ultimate experience, a chance to go in search of the northern lights on an incredible voyage for two along Norway’s breathtaking coastline.

This fantastic prize includes a 12 (11-night) full board round trip voyage sailing up and down Norway’s beautiful coastline from Bergen to Kirkenes and back again. Flights from London Heathrow are also included!

Your prize will take you from the UNESCO-listed harbour town of Bergen up over the ‘top’ of Norway to Kirkenes, just 5 kilometres from the Russian border.

En route you will pass through ports large and small, including the Art Nouveau town of Ålesund, the former Viking capital Trondheim and the Gateway to the Arctic, Tromsø.

You will cross the Arctic Circle twice, and possibly enjoy one of our famous Arctic baptisms (a few ice cubes down your top!).

The ship will also call at Honningsvåg, where you can disembark to take an excursion to mainland Europe’s northernmost point.

These are just some of the 34 ports that your ship will call at on the Classic Round Voyage, many of which are too small to accommodate the large cruise liners.

The highlight for many passengers is the daylight southbound sailing through the magnificent Vesterålen and Lofoten Islands. Here, you will witness the quaint fishing ports, the rugged picturesque mountains and some of the most beautiful coastal scenery in the world.

And if the sea conditions are right, the captain will take a short diversion into the incredibly narrow Trollfjord.
