Win a holiday week at Scottish Dancing Summer School @ Mackies of Scotland

e’re celebrating our homeland traditions in this, our 30th year of making ice cream — and what better way than to dance! Our new prize winner and guest will join the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society Summer School for a week in the scenic town of St Andrews. This is the perfect way to begin or improve your dancing skills and to spend time with your partner while making new friends — just come and have fun! The prize includes daily dancing lessons and a celebratory end of week Ceilidh Dance with accommodation and meals provided.

We’ve teamed up with the lovely people at The Royal Scottish Country Dance Society (RSCDS) to offer you and a guest this chance to join their flagship event called Summer School. It runs from 16 July — 13 August 2017, in the historic university town of St Andrews in Scotland. Summer School attracts around 700 dancers from as far afield as South Africa, North and South America, Canada, Japan, Australasia, China, continental Europe and of course a sizeable contingent from Scotland and the rest of the UK. As well as the dancers, the best Scottish Country Dance teachers and musicians in the world converge upon St Andrews, to lead the classes. Summer School welcomes families and will be offering options for young people who attend. You can combine core classes which run in the mornings, with a choice from optional classes, social or tourism activities in the afternoon, followed by social dancing in the evenings — all in all, a great Scottish holiday package!
