The winner and guest will stay for three nights, B&B, at the Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland. Set in 850 acres of Perthshire’s Ochil Hills, this grand sporting hotel is the perfect place for a fresh-air escape. As well as being home to three championship golf courses, it’s the launch pad for an invigorating range of country pursuits, from horse riding to hill walking. As part of the prize, the winner and guest can try either fly fishing or archery, led by an expert guide.
Meanwhile, back at base, a giant spa and 10 bars and restaurants await, including the Century Bar, which has a choice of more than 100 single malts on its menu. A dinner for two at the art deco Strathearn restaurant (excluding drinks) is included in the prize. It must be taken before June 30, 2021, subject to availability and excluding public holidays, December 23 to January 3, Valentine’s Day weekend and April 3 to 18. The Gleneagles Hotel will reopen on July 15 with a meticulous set of safety protocols in place.
