The winner and guest will stay for two nights, B&B, at Monkey Island Estate, on the Thames at Bray in Berkshire. YTL Hotels’ newest UK property, Monkey Island Estate opened in 2019 after a four-year refurbishment and is based around two elegant Palladian lodges. The Pavilion is home to the restaurant, bars and ballroom, while the Temple contains most of the 41 rooms and suites. Guests can sip cocktails in the Monkey Bar, enjoy brasserie classics in the restaurant, and slip away for a soothing treatment in the Floating Spa.
The island offers seven serene acres in which to relax, just 25 miles from Piccadilly Circus. It is no wonder that King Edward VII liked it here, as did HG Wells and Siegfried Sassoon
The prize includes one dinner for two (excluding drinks) at the Monkey Island Brasserie. It must be taken before December 20, 2021, subject to availability and excluding public holidays, as well as the period from June 29 to July 4.
