The winner will stay for two nights, B&B, in a Luxury Room at the Dunstane Houses, a member of Pride of Britain Hotels’ collection of 50 independently owned hotels. A short walk from Edinburgh city centre, this grade II listed hotel is located in two elegant Victorian townhouses and brings a taste of Orkney to the Scottish capital.
Inside there is a mix of traditional island hospitality and 21st-century luxury, while the hotel’s Orcadian dining can be sampled in either the Ba’ Bar & Lounge or the new Garden at the Dunstane. At the latter the smoked salmon, mackerel, beef and cheese are all from the Orkneys, and the hotel serves its own DunGin and tonic.
The prize includes one dinner for two (excluding drinks) and must be taken before May 30, 2022, subject to availability and excluding the periods from December 20 to January 3 and April 10 to 21, public holidays and Valentine’s Day.
