Win a pair of tickets to see The Last Queen of Scotland.

Stellar Quines is proud to present the world premiere of The Last Queen of Scotland by Jaimini Jethwa for this year's Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and The List is giving one lucky reader the chance to win a pair of tickets for the much anticipated performance.

In 1972, the dictator Idi Amin ordered the expulsion of Ugandan-Asians from the African country, under a 90 day deadline. In Dundee, Scotland, a woman grows up knowing nothing about her homeland and is haunted by Amin's impact on her destiny. Returning to Uganda years later she confronts his ghost.

This is one story from a community in exile that sheds light on a unique period of untold history.

Performed by Rehanna MacDonald, The Last Queen of Scotland brings together the broad Dundonian dialect and a live soundtrack composed and performed by Patricia Panther (Glasgow Girls) as a homage to Jaimini’s city 'the D'.
