Win: A Reggae Roast Minirig System @ Clash Music

gust is nearly upon us. And with this particularly summery month (we hope!) comes the dual vibrations of Jamaican Independence Day (on the 1st) and London’s Notting Hill Carnival (24th-25th). To celebrate, Clash has teamed up with both Reggae Roast and Minirigs to bathe you in even more sound.

Reggae Roast are a cheeky and ascendant reggae collective who, not content with running a tasty label and even more spicy events, are to launch their own massive sound-system on August 10th.

Minirigs, an equally cheeky company, are a Bristol crew pioneering the best portable sound system on the market – and they’ve given us a custom made Reggae Roast Minirig, worth the best part of £100, to give away to you.

It doesn’t stop there. On Sunday 10th August, the Reggae Roast guys are hosting an all-day party (midday-8pm, £6 in) on the banks of the River Lea on Cody Dock in east London, E16 4TL. It’s a symbolic place: specialist audiophile Al Cree lives on a barge there, where he’s been building Reggae Roast’s state-of-the-art sound-system throughout 2014.

We’ve a pair of tickets to give away to the Reggae Roast party – alongside the exclusive Minirig.

Performing alongside Reggae Roast will be a selection of their finest associated artists, including DJ Vadim, Brother Culture, Adam Prescott, Vibration Lab, Louis Slipperz, Ramon Judah, Leo Samson and Dark Angel. Away from the decks there’s a much-anticipated live set from YT & Mr Williamz with the Innerheart Band.

The celebrations kick off at midday and Reggae Roast will be providing plenty of refreshments on site, with a BBQ, freshly made pizza and a fully stocked bar. The cocktails will be flowing courtesy of their long-time friends and associates at Wray & Nephew, who will be bringing their authentic Caribbean taste to east London. There will be a chill-out area, boat bar and giant marquee to provide shade for that much-needed break from the sun.

To get you in the mood Reggae Roast has arranged a free download from Brother Culture – head here to get it.

Enter the competition below for the chance to guarantee entry for you and a mate, and bag this exclusive Minirig. Competition open to entrants aged 18 or over.
