THE PROMOTION: the following terms and conditions set out how you can potentially win a pair of tickets to FIA
World Endurance Championship 2017, the world’s premier sports car series event at the Nürburgring Grand-Prix-Strecke on 16th July 2017 by going to ihg-competition.com/nur…ng/ and entering your full name, address of residency, telephone number, IHG® Reward Club membership number and email address. By entering the promotion, the entrant agrees to be unconditionally bound by these terms and conditions.
THE PROMOTER: the Promoter of this promotion is IHG Hotels Limited of Broadwater Park, Denham, Buckinghamshire, UB9 5HR, England. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Twitter.
The promotion is only open to all legal residents of the United Kingdom, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Czech Republic aged 18 years or over. Those under the age of 18 cannot participate in the promotion and even if they do participate and win, they will not be awarded the prize. The promotion is not open to:
Employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies or employees of any franchised, managed or owned IHG hotels; or
Employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies or its franchised, managed or owned IHG hotels, who are professionally connected with the promotion or its administration; or
Members of the immediate families or households of 3.1.1 And 3.1.2 Above.
An entrant must be an IHG® rewards club member and provide their membership number in the online application form to enter. Membership is free. See ihgrewardsclub.com to enrol. Ihg Rewards Club membership terms and conditions apply (http://www.Ihg.com/hotels/us/en/global/customer_care/member-tc).
In entering the promotion, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the promotion and/or claim any prize you may win.
Entry limitations - the following entry limitations apply:
The Promoter will not accept entries that are: automatically generated by computer; completed by third parties; completed in bulk; or incomplete.
There is a limit of one entry per person.
Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted.
The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to these T&Cs or otherwise the spirit or intention of the promotion.
There are prize limitations and these are set down in condition 7.
The promotion begins on 5th June 2017 at 00:01 Greenwich mean time (“GMT”) (“opening date”) and ends on 26th June 2017 at 23:59 GMT (“closing date”). The winner(s) wil be announced on the announcement date as defined in clause [9.1].
All entries must be received by the Promoter in accordance with the entry process as set down in condition 5 by no later than 23:59 on the closing date. All entries received after the closing date are automatically disqualified.
To enter the promotion:
Visit the promotion website, hosted by a third-party affiliate of the Promoter, at ihg-competition.com/nur…ng/ and submit the online entry form by the closing date. As part of the online entry form you will be required to give your full name, address of residency, telephone number, IHG® Reward Club number and email address. Your operator’s standard data or communication charges shall apply for access to the promotion website.
No purchase necessary and there is no charge to register for use of the Promoter’s website.
The Promoter will not accept:
Entries that are incomplete, late, or otherwise defective, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind;
The sharing of a promotion post on any personal timelines as an entry into the promotion; or
Attempted entries made by “commenting” on or “liking” any post on the IHG® Reward Club Facebook page or Twitter feed.

THE PRIZES will be awarded to three (3) winner (“winner”). The number of Prizes is three (3). Each winner will be awarded one pair of tickets to see the world’s premier sports car series, event at the Nürburgring on 16th July. Three IHG® Reward Club members have a chance to take a friend and enjoy an insider race experience including VIP hospitality at the famous Le Mans spirit club, meeting Ford CGR race drivers including triple world champion Andy Priaulx MBE, live pit stop, full garage tour with ford, insider tour of the FIA WEC race paddock environment. Tickets are valid for the FIA world endurance championship 2017, the world’s premier sports car series, event at the Nürburgring on Sunday 16th July only. The ability of a winner to use a prize will be subject to meeting the conditions included below in condition 7.
The prize is not negotiable or transferable. Prizes are subject to availability. There is no cash alternative for the prize save that the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value.
Winners are strictly prohibited from selling their Prizes to any other person or gifting them to any third party.
The prize is supplied by InterContinental Hotels Group PLC, Broadwater Park, Denham, Buckinghamshire, UB9 5HR (the “supplier”).
The prize does not include travel to and from the Grand-Prix-Strecke including but not limited to any flight, rail or transfer costs to and from airports or stations, travel insurance, food and drink, spending money, tax or personal expenses. Any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above and that are incidental to the fulfilment of the prize are the responsibility of the Winners. The Promoter will be responsible for any sales tax due in respect of any good or service awarded as a prize to a winner but the winner shall otherwise be responsible for any other applicable taxes.
In order to be eligible to take up the prize, the winner must:
Be able to attend Nürburgring on Sunday 16th July. There is no alternative date to see Nürburgring with the tickets won from the promotion; and
Agree to be photographed and filmed during the event and may be required to take part in publicity and by entering this promotion they hereby agree to take part in any such publicity.
Within 7 days of the closing date, the Winners will be selected at random by a draw performed by an independent third party affiliate of the Promoter via a randomised computer process from all eligible entries received in accordance with these terms and conditions.
The winner of the promotion will be announced on facebook.com/ihg…pe/ on 3rd July 2017 (“announcement date”).
The decision of the Promoter and its third-party affiliate is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
Except to the extent that the Promoter is prevented by law from doing so, the Promoter will send the name and town/city of residence of the winner to anyone who writes within one month after the closing date requesting details of the winner, and who encloses a self-addressed envelope, to the address set out in condition 1 with the subject line: “social competition - IHG® Rewards Club - Nürburgring”.
The Promoter and/or a representative of the supplier will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner using the telephone number or email address provided with the entry. The Promoter will not amend any contact information once the entry form has been submitted.
If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not claimed their prize within seven (7) days of the announcement date, the Promoter reserves the right to randomly select by a computer process an alternative winner according to the criteria set out in the “selection of Winners” clause above in place of the winner that cannot be contacted.
The prize may not be claimed by a third party on a winner’s behalf. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if a winner is not able to take up the prize.
Once the winner has accepted the prize either in response to the Promoter’s telephone calls or emails (detailed in condition 10.1) They will receive a booking confirmation via email from a representative of the supplier; entrants are advised to review their junk email/spam filters accordingly for such correspondence.
All Prizes can only be collected from the pick up point at Nürburgring, Grand-Prix-Strecke. Winners will receive details within 7 days of closing competition date with more information of pick up point.
By accepting a prize, the winner agrees to release and hold harmless the Promoter and its subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, agencies and each of their respective parent companies and each such company’s officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the “released parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the promotion or receipt of, use or misuse of any prize.
The released parties are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the promotion; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software failures of any kind including any injury or damage to any person’s computer account resulting from participating in this promotion, or mistranscribed data; (3) unauthorized human intervention or human error which may occur in any part of the entry process or the process for allocating the prize(s); (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the promotion or the processing of entries; (5) late, lost, undeliverable, damaged or stolen post; or (6) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the promotion or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. If for any reason an entrant’s entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrant’s sole remedy is another entry in the promotion, if it is possible.
Nothing in this section shall exclude the released parties’ liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability whose limitation is prohibited by law.
Facebook and Twitter may not be held liable for any claim arising from an entrant’s participation in the promotion or taking up a prize.
All entries and any accompanying material submitted to the Promoter will become the property of the Promoter on receipt.
By submitting your entry and any accompanying material, you agree to, so far as permitted by law:
Assign to the Promoter all your intellectual property rights in full with full title guarantee and execute any such documents and perform such acts as may be required for the purpose of giving full effect to this clause 12
Waive all moral rights, in and to your entry and otherwise arising in connection with your entry to which you may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the UK copyright, designs and patents act 1988 and local equivalent laws and statutes as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world. This clause shall not apply to German entrants.
You agree that the Promoter may, but is not required to, make your entry available on its website, its social media pages, and any other media, whether now known or invented in the future, and in connection with any publicity of the promotion.
You agree to grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable licence, for the full period of any intellectual property rights and moral rights in the entry and any accompanying materials which you are unable to assign, to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, re-format and sub-licence the entry and any accompanying materials for such purposes.
By entering the promotion, you agree that the Promoter or its agents and suppliers may use:
Any personal data provided by you with your entry to administer the promotion;
Your name, image and town and/or county of residence if you are the winner (and except where prohibited) to announce the winner;
You have the right to object, for a legitimate purpose, to the collection of your personal data, a right to access the collected data and a right to have the processed data rectified, completed, blocked or deleted. Certain personal data are necessary to administer the promotion. If you exercise your right to object to the processing of such personal data prior to the end of the promotion, your participation will be cancelled.

If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion for the safe and fair development of the promotion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the promotion.
The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law. This choice of law does not deprive you of the protection afforded to you under your own laws and such provisions that cannot be derogated from by agreement by virtue of the law of your jurisdiction. The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If any provision(s) of these terms and conditions (or any part thereof) are held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions (or any part thereof) hereof will remain in full force and effect.
