Windows 7 Whopper at Burger King - OMG!!!

Burger King marks launch of Windows 7 with a SEVEN-patty Whopper

Burger King has released a gut-busting seven-patty Whopper to mark the release of Windows 7.

In what may be the most bizarre cross-promotional campaign ever, Microsoft linked up with the fast-food chain to create the 'Windows 7 Whopper.'

The fatty burger behemoth contains more than 2500 calories, is 5.1 inches tall and costs just 777 yen - about £5.

It went on sale in outlets in Japan today to coincide with the release of the new operating system.

Although the promotional picture looks relatively appetising - well, sort of - the actual product left a lot to be desired.

'I need to shower after holding it in my hands,' said one customer, Kyoko Yamamoto, after merely trying to get a grip on the sandwich.

'Grease is running down my arms,' she added.

'There is no way you could eat that.'

The grease factor aside, computer users were also mystified by the idea of using a gigantic fast food burger to promote new computer software.

Computerworld.com writer Preston Gralla said: 'Given that Microsoft has been criticised for releasing top-heavy, bloated operating systems, this could be one of its worst promotional ideas ever.'

100% real. i watched a vid the other day where one guy eat it all in japan. Apparently lots of BK are doing them but you have to ask because it isn't on the menu. Costs quite a bit though.
