Wireless help

I've got in-built wireless in my Dell Vostro 1510 laptop but it doesn't seem to be working properly at the moment, it is connected wireless and then drops out and can't find the router, even though the router is working fine.

I'm pretty certain its the wireless in the laptop playing up but don't know how to sort it.

If I was to buy a wireless network card, could I use that instead of the in-built wireless, without it conflicting etc?

If I can, what would you recommend?

shouldnt be any need just switch ur wirless on and off also reset thr router
did you do first set up/pair with router with ethernet cable if not just conect vie cable and then just go wirless and unplug

It worked fine for the first 2-3 months, but wouldnt connect at either Uni or Home today and when it has connected, it has at times been slow or dropped out and gone to limited connectivity :x

I know this sounds stupid, have you tried unplugging the router? Mine plays up sometimes and that usually works.
