    Wireless network help needed

Currently in our home we have vodafone as our ISP and run all of our PC's from the netgear router which was provided.

However at the other side of the house the connection signal strength is generally low and slower speed.

I want to get liuke an additional box in the other room to get a better signal on the other side of the house.

In the room there is a telephon line and an ethernet cable which could be used, what do i need to buy? dont really want to spend over £20.

    rep. for any help. Thanks

Could you not move the router to a different room?

I use HomePlugs, but they cost more than £20
    MaxValue Homeplugs

You could run a cable from the router. You can but flat cables for under the carpet from eBay

Other than that, you could try and centralise your router.

ok thanks, with the HomePlugs is it just a case of plugging the networked ethernet cable into the bottom (and obviously into a plug) and then it will create a wireless access point?

As easy as that. My house has three floors, but my router is on the ground floor, so the wireless is poor. These plugs work great. The are more expensive ones than MaxValue, but these work ok and I have have been using them for almost two years.
