Help! Need to pick your brains about wireless routers! We currently have wired broadband (through TalkTalk), just got my OH a HP mini note which she wants wireless around the house. My questions are - in buying a wireless router and once installed will this be completely compatible with TalkTalk broadband? Also whilst having a bit of a clear out we found an old Sky broadband wireless router - can this be used at all??

We tried the router earlier and it kept saying internet explorer cannot be displayed. Is there something we are not doing?

Depending on which Sky router you have, if you are technically inclined you may be able to flash the firmware of the router to be able to input your TT details.
Might be easier just to buy another router

Just tried to use the old Sky router but not having any of it lol. Thanks guys for your help. Thank you dcx-badass I have just ordered one! Rep added!

Something else you may want to think about.
If you run into problems, TT may not offer you support to get it fixed, so may be worth looking into getting a TT router.
