Wismec rx200 and Smok cloud beast tfv8

Hi guys. Ive recently bought wismec rx200 and tfv8 atomizer two days ago. I bought it to quit smoking and from what i seen its a cloud maker. The only problem is im new to vaping and i dont know what settings should i use it at? I dont know anything at all. The temp and watt settings. Any suggestions what should i use it at ? Or any other advice?

Note: i know i am dumb to buy it without knowing anything but i badly want to quit smoking

I'd set the rx200 to wattage mode ignore temp setting and start around 50w slightly increase to get your sweet spot
Your looking for a flavour n cloud without discomfort heat everyone's different
The temp setting is good but more advanced

To give up smoking you don't need a "cloudmaker" , can't think who but exhibitionists would . I use a Nautilus mini with a 1.8ohm coil . Voltage 4 -4.5 which gives 9-10Watts according to the display . 23 months since I had a cig now after 30 odd years of smoking circa 30 a day . Equally important is getting the right taste (I'm still on tobacco flavour, and there are many of those) and don't forget you will initially need a high nicotine content (1.8 -2%) . Don't try to start off with fruity 0% that is unlikely to work . Best of luck and don't forget you can afford to experiment (to get the right combination of nicotine content and flavour ) when you aren't paying £9-£10 for every packet of fags you used to smoke .

    The smok tfv8 Kit contents
    1 x TFV8 Cloud Beast tank
    1 x V8-T8 Octuple coil
    1 x V8-Q4 Quadruple coil
    1 x V8 Exclusive Turbo RBA

I dont know what these all are. But which one i should use for 50w to 70w

Last time I checked - vaping wasn't an Olympic sport - "who can make the biggest cloud "

On average it's 20 watts per coil minimum I preferred the quad but they use a lot of juice

Goodluck trying to vape the beast on less than 50 watts it's a subohm tank

Would agree with Sammy I think the rig you have is for cloud chasing (which I disapprove of) not to give up smoking .

Be fine just set it to 50

I used to vape about 20w on a subohm, 3mg nicotine. Any higher nicotine level than about 6mg on a subohm and it'll probably burn your lips. I tried higher wattage and yes there was more vapour but sacrifice of flavour and it gave it a burnt taste. Good luck, I've been totally quit over a year now.

I use a nautilus with an istick. I highly recommend the klapton coils if you can find them. A hundred times better than the BVc coils which I didn't think was possible. Plus they are between 13-16w as opposed to the 10w of the bvc. Give it a try amazing flavour. You won't regret it.

As a beginner you really have purchased an advance kit, stick with stock coils and put the RBA in the draw as you will probably want to try building you're own coils down the line. Stick to wattage, if you were a heavy smoker get some juice at 6 to 9 mg. You're choice as to flavor but most people i know start on a menthol flavor. Start at 20w and slowly build up 2w at a time to how you like it. Do not start at 50w, you are new to vaping and I guarantee if you start at 50w it will be in the draw by puff 10.

I have been vaping now for 9 months coming off of a 50 a day habit. I started using it interspersed with a roll up. By day 3 I was on just a roll up in the morning and fully on the e-cig at the end of a week. I can honestly say I did not have any bad with drawl symptoms. I had tried various other methods prior to this. As to the wattage debate, its each to their personal taste, but I sub ohm and have never vaped above 35w while using equipment that would reach 70w.

Good luck, as to liquid try one pound liquid, its good for trying different flavours till you find one you like.

As a vaper I think the kit you have purchased for a beginner is too advance. I had the exact same products and didn't get on with the tank and the battery wasn't that great (it can be used with 2 or 3 18650 batteries). Also found the mechanism for keeping the back cover plate on week and brittle. I no longer use it.

Just keep the mod on wattage mode and set it to the lower end of the coil rating and adjust slightly as you go to find your happy medium. The wattage range is stamped on the side of each coil.

I have the exact same set up. Not something i would recommend to a first time vaper to be honest, id be surprised if you have any lungs left going from cigs straight to lung hitting one of the most airy tanks out there.

Do NOT stick a high MG strength liquid in this tank. A very heavy smoker should start 10-12mg max on this, if not lower.

Consider DIY liquid making or you'll need a mortgage to keep buying juice for it.

An external battery charger is required with good quality 18650 batteries. Above post mentions it can be used with just 2 battery's, ive never heard of this and wouldn't recommend it either.

Just add aswell, anyone saying you dont need to go above 20/35 watts has no experiance with the TFV8. Try firing a coil reading 0.15ohms at 20 watts....

I think your referring to the RX2/3 mod and not the RX200.

The RX200 cant be used with 2 cells and the battery cover plate has no real issues as it's not adjustable like the RX2/3.
