Wladimir Klitschko retires and will not fight Anthony Joshua in rematch

Generally a class act, and the right thing to do, he doesn't need the grief of another beating of AJ.

Only regret is he never fought his brother, very convenient. I recall Henry Cooper fought his brother, way back when, fighters now seem happy to avoid matches they don't fancy, as there are too many versions of each title.

I hope he sticks to his word. Too many fighters carry on far too long, either seeking more glory or more money.

A dignified end to a dignified career.

he already went on too long - hence his last defeat

Good news.
