When I got out on a Friday/Saturday, I drink enough to sink the QE2 yet i've just played some tennis and gone for a quiet one in a local pub. Had 1 and a half Addlestone Cider and i feel half cut....

Literal stagger, speaking to fast etc...

Any idea why this is and why it cant happen on a weekend to save me some $$$?

Don't know, but in Chesterfield you can have a cheap friday or saturday in one club, its £10 on the door and free drinks all night, even factoring in a taxi its only £20 for a night out drinking, went in for first time on Friday and was impressed as there was not one bit of trouble or people passing out, quite impressed and there was plenty of hotties too! It was easy pickings!

As for getting half cut after sport its probably because you have depleted energy from the excercise and have none to burn/absorb the alcohol.

Don't know, but you should post this as a deal.

The alcohol goes into your blood stream. After excersise/sport your blood will be pumping faster, therefore the alcohol is going around your system alot faster than say it would when you have done no exsersise and are just on a night out.

I suggest if you want cheap nights out you go for a jog before hand...

Empty stomach as well means that alcohol will be absorbed quicker

That's like a club around here, on a Thursday night you pay £10 on the door to get in & unlimited drinks :-D

Sadly you are right, thats the nanny state we live in, the club was actually better than most others where its PAYG as everyone was surprisingly friendly, and everyone was just mingling like they are mates.

You will eventually get some idiots who ruin it for all though

Coincidence or explanation?

THere are some rough pubs on the outskirts, the town centre is pretty good though. Think its because all the door crews communicate and if you are banned from one its banned from all so the trouble causers have no point to come in to town.
