oh hell no, we all took the day as paid holiday.
Am gonna head in on Tuesday and Wednesday, just me and the other young(ish) person, strip some conduit and cables, swicth gear etc off the walls and then get an early shoot home, late start, early finish, book less hours but saves wasting a couple of days holiday pay like.

Mike..

Nope, back in on monday though.

gave my team the choice of half day off tomorrow, or they can continue to work till the official 3pm. we have a week off till the new year as the building is closed anyway.

all being well will knock off at 22:00

At royal mail they are letting us finish at 6pm then back in tuesday

I'm starting my new job on 4th Jan and just got the payout from my old job into my account. £9000 on Christmas eve! Woo hoo!

I would rather he was here but will be there for the kids opening their gifts so that's the main thing and will have lunch with us. Not everyone is lucky enough to have family to look after them and in some some cases the carer is the only person they see on Christmas day, so can't really complain.
How are you and bubs doing?
